History

Located in Village No. 2, Talung Subdistrict, on the west bank of the Lop Buri River, this temple was originally called Wat Phaya Yang because a towering yang tree stood among a grove of yang trees. It was first renamed Wat Yang Si Suttharam, then Wat Yang Na Rangsi, its name today.
