Phu Foi Lom Udon Thani

History
Phu Foi Lom is in the Pa Phan Don–Pakho National Forest Reserve on the Phu Phan Noi Range, in Thap Kung Subdistrict, about 600 metres above sea level. The weather is cool throughout the year. Its name comes from a type of lichen called foi lom, which grows on branches of large trees in the area. It is now less common as forest encroachment has degraded the woodland. The site was developed for ecotourism to support nature conservation and public education.
