History

Pasak Chonlasit Dam is in Nong Bua Subdistrict. It was graciously named by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in recognition of its water-retention capacity. The dam is part of the Pasak River Basin Development Project, initiated under royal patronage.
