History

Khao Samo Khon is in Khao Samo Khon Subdistrict. Follow the Lop Buri–Sing Buri route to kilometre 18, turn right, and continue for another 12 kilometres. This historically significant mountain has several old and interesting legends. The Royal Society’s Geographical Dictionary mentions them, but the Thai source text ends before giving the details.
