History

The temple is beside Sukhumvit Road, about 4 kilometers from the town centre. Its ordination hall and chedi are hundreds of years old. The temple preserves Khmer antiquities, including a Thala Pariwat-style lintel and a Prei Kmeng-style lintel (B.E. 1150–1250), decorative door-frame columns in the Angkor Wat style, and an unfinished Ganesha carving made from white sandstone.
