Wat Rong Khun

History
Wat Rong Khun is in Pa O Don Chai Subdistrict. It was once a small, old temple in a somewhat deteriorated condition. In B.E. 2540 (1997), national visual artist (painting) Chalermchai Kositpipat conceived the restoration and redesign. Construction took as long as 13 years. The inspiration came from the nation, religion and the monarchy.
