Wat Phra Borommathat (Koei Chai Nuea)

History
Located in Ban Pak Khlong, Koei Chai Subdistrict, this historic temple was formerly called Wat Borommathat after its octagonal, Sri Lankan-style stupa containing Buddha relics. The stupa is believed to date from the reign of Somdet Phra Sanphet VIII, also known as King Suea, of Ayutthaya. The Yom and Nan rivers meet nearby.
