History

Wat Pa Dad is in Tha Pha Subdistrict. A key feature is the relatively well-preserved mural painting inside the vihara, created by a Tai Yai artist. The murals depict the life of the Buddha and various Jataka tales. The vihara was built at about the same time as the temple, around B.E. 2400.
