Wat Chom Khiri Nak Phrot (Wat Khao)

History
Wat Chom Khiri Nak Phrot, also called Wat Khao, stands on Khao Buat Nak between the foot of Dechatiwong Bridge and Jiraprawat Camp, in Nakhon Sawan Ok Subdistrict, Mueang District. A local legend says the temple was built after Burmese forces captured Ayutthaya for the second time, to show that they too respected Buddhism. Its features include a replica Buddha footprint and an ordination hall that local residents call “the hall built by angels.” Donations to places of this type qualify for a tax deduction of 1x when made through the Revenue Department’s e-Donation system.
