Wat Chaiyatikaram

History
Wat Chaiyatikaram is in Ban Phon Mueang, Mai Kon Subdistrict. It houses a 55-centimetre bronze Buddha seated cross-legged in the Maravijaya posture. The source classifies it as Lao art from the Vientiane school and compares it with images at the gallery of Ho Phra Kaew in Vientiane and Wat Wisun in Luang Prabang, dated from the late 22nd to the 23rd Buddhist century.
