Wat Bang Luang

History
Located in Bang Luang Subdistrict, about 3 kilometers from the provincial center, the temple is known for its traditional Thai-style ordination hall. Inside are a principal Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya posture and murals depicting the life of the Buddha. The grounds also have two Mon-style chedis, one shaped like Shwedagon and the other like Mutao. The temple has been used for local religious ceremonies since the Ayutthaya period.
