The Silkworm Village of Ban Lung Pradu Samakki
History
The village is in Village No. 1, Lung Pradu Subdistrict, on Highway 2163 (the Phimai–Hin Dat route) near kilometer marker 21. Turn right at the sign for Ban Lung Pradu Silk-Weaving Village. It is about 90 kilometers from Nakhon Ratchasima. The village has an integrated mulberry-growing, silkworm-rearing, and weaving process. Visitors can see natural and chemical dyeing, silk reeling, and the weaving of traditional and modern patterns. For visits, contact Mrs. Chusri Khariangram at 0 4423 4797 or 0 1265 7306.
