Ban Mae Chaem Community
History
Located in Chae Son Subdistrict, Ban Mae Chaem is a valley community at more than 1,000 metres above mean sea level, with cool weather throughout the year. Its residents include Mien, Lahu and local ethnic groups, most of whom work in agriculture. Farms grow mixed fruit and cool-climate crops, and the community is known for Arabica coffee and macadamia.
