History

Chao Lao Beach is one of Chanthaburi’s best-known and most popular beaches. It is in Khlong Khut Subdistrict, Tha Mai District, on the Gulf of Thailand. The beach stretches about 10 kilometers from Hat Laem Sadet to Khung Kraben Wildlife Non-hunting Area. It has pale brown sand, relatively clear water, gentle waves, and a quiet atmosphere, suited to relaxation, swimming, and nature tourism.
