Bueng Chawak
History
Bueng Chawak is in Doem Bang Subdistrict and is a large natural lake covering about 2,000 rai. It was declared a non-hunting area in B.E. 2526. In B.E. 2541, it was designated a wetland of national importance under the Ramsar Convention, to which Thailand is a contracting party, because of the diversity of plant and animal species in the lake.
