Bang Lang’s forest contains a diversity of plant life, mostly in tropical evergreen forest. It is an important headwater area for the Pattani River, Sai Buri River, Khlong To Mo, Khlong Hala, and Khlong Ban Chet, and provides habitat for many rare wildlife species.
