History
Ban Tha Ranae Community Tourism Enterprise is a well-known ecotourism and conservation destination in Trat, set among the rich mangrove forests of Ban Tha Ranae. Visitors can experience nature, the way of life of local fishing families, and community-led tourism activities focused on conserving natural resources. A highlight is Lan Tabun, a large natural forest formed by interwoven taboon-tree roots, nicknamed the “Amazon of the East.”
