History

Ban Tha Din Daeng Community is in Moo 4, Lam Kaen Subdistrict, 14 kilometers from Thai Mueang District. It is an ecotourism village where visitors can learn about community life. Residents trace their ancestry to Muslim migrants who arrived before World War 2. The village lies on a peninsula extending into the sea and is surrounded on both sides by dense, lush mangrove forest.
