Use this checklist to compare wellness packages from different providers. It does not assess current service quality or endorse a particular clinic.
Make a comparison table before paying
- Package contents: Ask for the tests, procedures and consultations included, plus exclusions and possible extra charges.
- Care providers: Ask for the names and roles of the assessor, practitioner and person interpreting results. For diagnosis or treatment, verify professional licenses with the relevant authority.
- Reason for each service: Ask what risk is being assessed, what outcome is expected and how a result would change care.
- Benefits and risks: Request information about alternatives, side effects, limitations and fit with your health history. Do not treat a promised result as a substitute for evidence.
- Aftercare: Ask how follow-up works, whether you receive test results or medical records, and whom to contact if symptoms occur.
Check the provider’s information
MedlinePlus recommends checking who created health information, its purpose, sources and review process, and being cautious when a service is sold with claims that go beyond evidence. If a physician is involved, check the Medical Council register. Thailand’s Department of Health Service Support offers e-services for applications and information about some licensees. Because “wellness” can cover many types of service, confirm the business type and license scope with the relevant authority.
Ask about price and terms
Before paying, request an itemized quote covering fees, taxes, additional tests, medicines or products, follow-up visits, rescheduling or cancellation, and charges if no abnormal result is found. Do not compare only the package total when the included services differ.
